Millions of trees are cut every year for use in different furnitures or to produce papers which we use in the office. However, we usually forget to replace these trees that have been cut causing huge floods when rainy season comes.

Today, April 30, 2010, we celebrate what is called “Arbor Day”. Arbor Day is generally a national holiday here in the US which calls for environmental concern regarding our trees. Trees provides a lot of benefit to us. They provide shelter, food through their fruits, emits oxygen, and controls flood. Therefore, we should take good care of these trees.

In celebration of today’s Arbor Day 2010, we should therefore participate in different tree planting activities of our local communities. Alternatively, you can also opt to sponsor a tree to be planted in your eco-parks.

Let’s save our environment from a looming disaster brought about by our actions. Encourage your neighbors to plant trees. Let’s unite and act as one towards saving our environment. Happy Arbor Day 2010 to all!
