BP Oil Spill Live Feed Shows Extent of Oil Leakage: The world awaits as to the next oil spill containment method that British Petroleum will implement to stop the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico from further damaging the marine life in the ocean.
We’ve already seen in the past several actions done to contain this oil spill. At first, several boom oil spill equipments were used but it never worked. We’ve also seen Kevin Costner contributing in this oil spill containment efforts through his research which he personally funded. This involves a project about centrifuge machines that will separate oil from water. Also, we’ve also heard about the huge oil containment dome about the size of four-storey building that would presumably stop this oil spill. All of these efforts helped but were not enough to permanently contain the oil spill.
In the latest containment effort, BP unveiled its BP Top Kill plan which will attempt to drill mud into the well to possibly block the gushing gallons and gallons of oil spilling into the ocean. This huge amount of mud will be the life saver to finally contain the oil spill from further leakage into the ocean.
