Almost every Mac and Apple user, fan and enthusiast in the world are excited about the soon to be released iOS4 or the Apple iPhone OS 4.0 for the iPhone, iPod and iPad devices. Apple recently announced that the new major software patch for iPhone devices will be released today, Monday, June 21, 2010.
Though Apple did not explicitly tell us what time they’re going to release the most powerful iPhone operating system ever, millions of iPhone users are now staying tuned for announcements from Apple.
Before you get your hopes up, you must be aware that Apple may release the iPhone OS 4 patch anytime today. But before you can take advantage of the full power of iOS4, you must be aware of the requirements for updating your iPhone devices. First, you must ensure that your iPhone is properly charged to its full battery level. There are instances wherein the iPhone suddenly turns of in the middle of the update due to low battery. Second, get the latest copy of iTunes from the Apple website. You will need an iTunes in order for you to update your iPhone OS to iOS 4.
