His mixed martial arts achievements is too many to mention and he is more than ready to get into to UFC world. His skills in his previous fights truly is more than enough to say that he is a potential Welterweight champ in the future. He is still on the early 30′s yet he already fought 30 times and won 25 out of it and most of the wins are by way of submission.

He will face the Danish mixed martial artist Martin Kampmann who trains under the Xtreme Couture gym. This fighter is equally astonishing as Shields. His last opponent was Paulo Thiago in UFC 115 wherein he won. Thiago would also be fighting with him in the event but with a different opponent.
