Philippine Election Results (as of 4:06PM 05/12/2010)  | read this item

The final results of the Philippine Election is still not yet available but thanks to Comelec (Commission on Elections), we are updated with partial results every now and then. As of 4:06PM Manila time, the following results below hold true.

Based from the data below, Noynoy Aquino holds a firm grip on the top spot for the country’s most coveted presidential position. The Filipino people it seems still holds fresh the candidate’s mother’s recent death in their minds. Be it because of sympathy or because of intellectual reasons, the numbers do not lie. The majority of the Filipino people want him as president.

As for the vice-presidential seat, 2 candidates are in a tight race with Jejomar Binay leading the race against Manuel Roxas. Unlike the presidential race where other candidates have gracefully thrown in the towel, this race is a tight one where no one is willing to give up.

As for the top 12 senatorial seats, actor-politician Bong Revilla Jr. leads the race.

I’m sorry but, I don’t think 13,600,000 is the majority of the Filipino’s. Because there are 76,400,000 others out there that didn’t vote for him.
