Discover Cove is a very beautiful place in Greater Orlando, Florida, United States. It is a theme park where guests can interact with a variety of marine animals, particularly with bottlenose dolphins. The park is situated adjacent to its sister park SeaWorld Orlando and Aquatica. Apart from interaction with dolphins, guests can also interact with exotic birds, tropical fish, rays and land animals.
The park is operated by SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment which is a subsidiary of The Blackstone Group. In this park, guests have the chance to make a scheduled reservation to talk, touch, play and swim with bottlenose dolphins. Before moving to a dolphin pool, a safety orientation and information is given to the guests by a trained dolphin adventure guides.
In addition, Discovery Cove also contains a coral reef where guests can do snorkeling to observe and interact with thousands of tropical fish. A free-flight aviary is also available in the park, where over 250 tropical birds are contained including parrots, toucans, and about 30 other species of exotic birds.
The admission to the park includes food, drinks, equipment rentals and a ticket to SeaWorld Orlando, Aquatica, or Busch Gardens Tampa Bay.
