Rene Angelil. Why is he the happiest man on Earth right now? Because his lovely wife, Celine Dion, is pregnant with twins! This is great news for them because it is a great accomplishment for them. After giving birth to their now 9 year old son, Rene Charles, the couple has been having a hard time to follow through with their next child until this surprising turn of events. Not only do they have a child incoming but two! She is now 14 weeks pregnant.
Celine Dion also suffered a miscarriage last year August. After announcing her pregnancy then, she met this unfortunate event. Good for them that they did not give up but continued to pursue what they want. They did not do so blindly though. They have taken calculated steps like undergoing six in-vitro fertilization attempts. In addition to that, Celine is also said to have undergone acupuncture to boost her chances of having a baby.
“She was hoping for one baby and the news that we are having two is a double blessing.” said Rene Angelil to the People Magazine.
Celine Dion is a famous singer who started her career in the 1960s and founded a band “The Baronets” with her childhood friend. Her music career peaked during the mid-90s. Her husband, Rene Angelil, on the other hand is also a singer and the manager of his own singer wife. They got married on December 17, 1994. They have a 26-year gap between them with Celine being 42 years old and Rene 64 as of now.
