It’s Lohan’s 2nd time to get a SCRAM strapped to her ankle. The device works like those alcohol breathe analyzer devices, but instead of getting samples from breath, the bracelet gets samples from sweat. The device monitors one’s alcohol intake every 30 minutes, taking note and giving data to officers whether the person in probation is going over 0.02 on their alcohol intake. Alcohol Monitoring Systems is the maker of Lindsay Lohan’s Ankle Bracelet, with each unit costing $1500. People can’t get units on retail, but only judges and people in authority.
So what was the reason for Lohan’s 2nd SCRAM issuance? It was because she didn’t appear at a court hearing back in Lost Angeles and went to the Cannes film Festival instead.
