What does Lebron James’ mom have to do with Delonte West? According to various unconfirmed reports, the King James’ mom and his teammate Delonte West are having an affair. Uhuh, you read right. They are having a relationship behind the King’s back. Given Delonte West’s shady history, this might be true. But then again, we cannot judge someone like that. But then again if this story were true, then Lebron James’ performance during the Cavaliers vs Celtics Playoff series was understandable.
If you are an NBA fan and you are following though the NBA playoff games, the Cavaliers and Celtics were tied at 2-2 apiece after Game 4. Everyone was expecting LBJ to take over Game 5 to put the mighty Celtics in the brink of playoff extinction for the season. That never happened. Instead, we never saw the king. Actually we did, but not the 2-time MVP we all know. Why would that happen?

Could the alleged affair be the reason? Take note, that this is just a rumor and nothing has been proven yet but if it were true then it all makes sense. Unlike Delonte West, LBJ’s career is without scandal. If the affair exists, then this would certainly have affected the king and might have affected his game as well. Logical? Maybe.
Or, these are all lies and LBJ did not really have it in him to win a championship. He faltered in the face of playoff pressure which cost him and the city of Cleveland another year of sports championship drought.
Or, he deliberately played bad so that he could bolt out of Cleveland next season to play for a real championship contender.
Whatever the case is, Lebron will be Lebron and he will always be a great player. We are not sure what he will do if the rumors are true but one might think he would leave Cleveland to look for greener pasture and to leave bad memories behind along with a bad friend.
