Mexican-American self-taught, professional dog trainer widely known for his television series The Dog Whisperer Cesar Millan and his wife Ilusion filed for divorce.
A statement posted in Millan’s website said, “We are sad to announce that after 16 years of marriage we have decided to file for divorce”.
“The decision was made after much consideration and time. We remain caring friends, and are fully committed to the co-parenting of our two boys.”
According to the legal documents it says that Ilusion Millan filed for divorce at Los Angeles court Friday, citing irreconcilable differences. She is seeking primary physical custody of the kids with visitation rights for Cesar as well as spousal support.
Irreconcilable differences between spouses that are considered sufficiently severe to make married life together more or less impossible. In a number of states, irreconcilable differences is the accepted ground for a no-fault divorce. As a practical matter, courts seldom, if ever, inquire into what the differences actually are, and routinely grant a divorce as long as the party seeking the divorce says the couple has irreconcilable differences.
