Amanda Bynes tweeted over her verified account in Twitter that she has retired from acting.
American actress, comedienne, fashion designer, singer, and voice artist announced, “Being an actress isn’t as fun as it may seem….If I don’t love something anymore I stop doing it. I don’t love acting anymore so I’ve stopped doing it.”
Though this high paid actress too young to say it’s over with it. “I know 24 is a young age to retire but you heard it here first,” she tweeted. “I’ve retired.”
Bynes was a show host of her own TV program “The Amanda Show” on Nickelodeon. She has appeared in many successful television series on the said tv channel in the mid to late 1990s and early 2000s. In 2002, she starred in the TV series, What I Like About You . Bynes transitioned to a film career, starring in several films aimed at teenage audiences, including She’s the Man in 2006 and Hairspray in 2007.
She was named one of Teen People’s 25 Hottest Stars Under 25 and in 2007, she was on the Forbes list as the 5th highest paid celebrity under 21, earning $2.5 million.
