(Houston, Texas): Teachers should be our role models just like our parents are. However, this is not the case in a teacher in Houston Texas where she is reported to have beaten one of her students. Accordingly, the student’s name is Isiah Johnson and the violent and abusive teacher is no other than Sherry Davis.
Sherri Davis is a Science teacher at Jamie’s House Charter School in Houston Texas. A former student named Janiqua Johnson, shot the video where teacher Sherri Davis snapped and “just started beating him up. His behavior may have been bad but he didn’t deserve that.”
Based on reports, the whole scenario started when 13-year old student Isiah Johnson made fun of a special child. After such actions, suddenly teacher Sherri Davis snapped up and started beating her 13-year old student. Other students in her class cannot do anything but to watch the scene. However, Janiqua Johnson courageously took her mobile phone and started recording the fight scene after which it has been loaded in the internet for everyone to see.
After the incident, Houston teacher Sherri Davis got fired immediately. Hopefully, that will serve as a lesson for her. It’s sad to see people using their authority and power to beat other people.
