The term “Asperger Syndrome” rose in searches when Nadia Bloom, an 11-year old girl from Florida who has been missing for four days, was finally found.

Accordingly, Nadia Bloom was discovered in a swamp infested by alligators by his church mate named James King. Nadia Bloom’s codition was awful because she was covered with mosquito bites and was extremely thirsty.

Based on findings, Nadia Bloom is affected by a form of autism called “Asperger Syndrome”. According to medical studies, Asperger Syndrome is a type of autism personality disorder where people affected with it show significant difficulties in social interaction, along with restricted and repetitive patterns of behavior and interests.

In addition, psychologists found out that lack of demonstrated empathy is possibly the most dysfunctional aspect of Asperger Syndrome that includes difficulties in basic elements of social interaction, which may include a failure to develop friendships, a lack of social or emotional reciprocity, and impaired nonverbal behaviors in areas such as eye contact, facial expression, posture, and gesture.

What is amazing in Nadia Bloom’s condition though is the fact that she was able to survive it without incurring any major trauma.
